By accessing or using Timer, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

Description of Service

Timer is a comprehensive smart scheduling platform that provides:

• Meeting Scheduling: Tools to create, manage, and share meeting availability
• Calendar Integration: Synchronization with popular calendar services
• AI Features: Intelligent scheduling optimization and meeting insights
• Booking Management: Automated booking confirmations and reminders
• Team Collaboration: Shared scheduling for organizations and teams
• Analytics: Meeting and productivity analytics and reporting

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our service at any time, with or without notice.

Account Registration and Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Timer
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You must not be prohibited from receiving services under applicable laws
• Organizations must ensure authorized representatives accept these Terms

Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

Acceptable Use Policy

Subscription and Billing

Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you upload to Timer
• You grant us necessary rights to provide our services
• You warrant you have rights to all content you upload
• You're responsible for ensuring your content doesn't infringe others' rights

AI Features and Data Processing

AI Processing Includes

• Smart Scheduling: AI optimization of meeting times and conflict detection
• Meeting Transcription: Optional AI transcription services (with explicit consent)
• Analytics: AI-generated insights about scheduling patterns
• Recommendations: Personalized suggestions for productivity improvement

Data Usage for AI

We may use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our AI algorithms and services. Individual user data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using Timer, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

For users in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and provide additional rights and protections as outlined in our GDPR compliance documentation.

Termination

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Remain inactive for an extended period (for free accounts)

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to Timer will cease, and we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies. Some provisions of these Terms will survive termination.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution Process

1. Direct Communication: We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication with our support team
2. Mediation: If direct resolution fails, we prefer mediation before formal legal proceedings
3. Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings will be conducted in the courts of Lisbon, Portugal

EU Residents

EU residents may also have access to alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and may contact their local consumer protection authorities.
